It’s not where you’re going but how you get there ... Looking for some exciting ways to travel? Here are some great ideas! Ever wondered what it would be like to be inside a washing machine? We don’t recommend chucking yourself in with the next load of washing, but we definitely recommend zorbing! Originating in Rotorua, New Zealand, zorbing involves jumping inside a huge plastic ball with a bucket of water, and then, with a bit of a shove, rolling down a huge hill and praying that you’ll stop at the bottom. Zorbing For thrill-seekers who don’t mind chilling in a Boeing 727 as it plummets weightlessly to Earth, zero-gravity can be experienced for a few seconds at a time thanks to a company called ‘Zero G Corporation’. They fly a group of passengers to an altitude of eight kilometres, and then let the plane drop – as the plane descends into freefall, the passengers experience around 30 seconds of zero-gravity, as if they were floating around in space!
